Head of AnalyticsRESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Trading business to realize and maximize value through the use of decision modeling and analyticsDevelop, implement and validate predictive modes, exploratory data analysis / mining or other analyses across the products/market Work with individual benches to develop trading strategies Generate regular reports and present to senior management, trading benches, sales teamProvide regular reporting to Senior Management. Develop models to support different trading products/marketsDevelop and maintain relationships with counter parties for market intelligence for effective business decision makingEffectively communicate business benefits of analytics and models to business and see to the implementation of these models to realize actual commercial benefits.QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Undergraduate degree in Statistics or Engineerng8 - 10 years of relevant experience in energy markets with exposure to refineries, energy trading, storage etc Analytical mind with sound business insight, excellent communicator (verbal and written), highly meticulous, and self-motivatedMaturity that will enable the candidate to be a credible counterpart to business managers and traders, and the ability to develop on-going ‘trusted advisor’ relationships based on the ability to understand, analyse, discuss and address key business challengesStrong PC skills and database familiarity; MS Office applications, including advanced spreadsheet and VBAWhat we offer:
