Regional Accountant (Jurong East / US GAAP) - Manfield Employment Services Pte Ltd

REGIONAL ACCOUNTANT

Reporting to the ASEAN Finance Manager, you will play an active role in ASEAN finance function. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Lead monthly close and reconciliation of financials for the regionVariance AnalysisEnsure financials are prepared in accordance to local and US GAAPLiaise with external auditors and tax agents to ensure timely statutory reportingProcess credit application and perform credit review and analysisInvolve in credit matters such as monitoring and release of credit holdReview of internal controls to ensure compliance to corporate policies and proceduresAssist in budgeting and forecasting processesSupport entity set-up in ASEAN countriesParticipate in Oracle implementationParticipate in regional projects as requiredThe successful applicant must be meticulous and technically sound, possess good interpersonal skill for interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, and enjoy working in a complex and dynamic business environment. You should be a self-starter, self-motivated, assertive, independent and versatile team player.

Pre-requisites:

Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualificationsAt least 3 to 5 years accounting experience with a MNC Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Oracle, ERP system is a plus Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
