Senior accountant role with a US Manufacturing MNC - Hudson Global Resources (Singapore) Pte Ltd

Role based in Tuas (but there will bus pick up services provided island wide)Accounting/costing experience in manufacturing is a mustExposure to SAP or other ERP exposure highly preferred 

Our client is a very renowned US manufacturing MNC. It is  now looking to hire a hands-on accountant to cover financial reporting, and operational accounting functions for a new business entity that is merged with the co. 

Requirements:  

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with CPA accreditation or MBA (preferred)Minimum 5-6 years experience in accounting gained in a manufacturing environment.A solid understanding of GAAP and the processing of financial transactions with a very good understanding of cost accounting and inventory valuation. Experience in cost accounting with the ability to understand and analyze financial transactions and operational data Strong working knowledge of SAP & HFMExcellent verbal and written skillsThe ability to work in a team environment with minimum directionOK to work on their work hours which starts at 715 am but ends early at 430 pmMulti-tasker and able to cope with changing prioritiesGood analytical and problem solving skillsTeam player with good communication skill and strong initiative.Have a ‘hands-on’ approach towards work and results-driven. Detail-oriented and ability to meet tight deadlines.
