Senior Treasury Analyst (MNC / $7000 / Central)Responsibilities: Support the team in daily operational matters relating to settlement of funding, foreign exchange, and trading activities in Asia PacificPerform daily settlement and approval of payments for financial instruments, including but not limited to foreign exchange contracts, non-deliverable fx forwards, money market transactions (interco and interbank loans and deposits, structured financing, repos), futures, fx options, interest rate swap, forward rate agreements, credit default swaps, fixed income trades, commercial papers, and other financial instrument types.Operationally ready to support as back up for daily confirmation and settlement of financial instruments.Review daily control reports to ensure compliance of Operational SOPs within the region.Perform trade reconciliations between banks and Treasury’s trade inventory system where required.Resolve discrepancies or settlement failures with counterparties and initiate claims.Liaise with other functional group like traders and accountants to resolve any problems and provide assistance where necessary.Setup procedures and processes for new asset classes.Handle documentation relating to financial instruments, e.g. ISDAs and Credit Support Annex agreements, long form confirmation for FX Options or NDFs.Understand the internal control environment, implement global policies where appropriate and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Supervise and provide direction to team members using established policies and procedures to deliver operational excellence.
Requirements: Degree in Finance/Business studiesMinimum 8 years relevant work experience in financial settlement area of a bank or custody department or fund management servicesKnowledge of (a) financial instruments & fixed income transactions (b) Treasury operations and derivatives settlement (c) long form confirmation for FX Options and NDFs essential (d) Industry practices, ISDAs and Credit Support Annex agreements preferred.Familiar with and has experience on documentation review and negotiation.Good problem-solving, time management and organisational skillsFluent (written and verbal) in English and MandarinSingaporeans / SPRs onlyFor interested applicants, please send in your updated resume in
